Choose SSTeelcoat® when:
- Fire-rated construction
- FM 4922 / NFPA 820 compliance
- or continuous 300°F+ operation is required.
FRP is preferred for:
- Structural rigidity for heavy fan and scrubber connections
- Broad chemical compatibility up to 200°F continuous
- Large-diameter runs where metal costs scale quickly
- Long-term value where lifecycle cost outweighs up-front spend
Choose Thermoplastics (PVC / PP) when:
- Chemistry falls within standard plastic compatibility
- or budget is the primary driver.
