Stainless Steel Production Manager

Viron International is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Stainless Steel Production Manager to join our team in operation in Temple, Texas. This critical role will be overseeing daily operational activities, driving process improvements, managing quality control and leading teams to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of our products and services. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate day-to-day stainless steel operational activities across multiple departments, including CAD, cut-out, welding, sandblasting and coating, to ensure smooth workflow, productivity and timely delivery customers on time.
  • Actively engage with frontline teams, providing guidance, support, and hands-on assistance as needed.
  • Develop, implement, and refine operational processes and procedures to optimize efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Documents and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, leading initiatives to implement change.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Shipping, and Management - to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Support and manage inventory, supply chain logistics, and vendor relationships as required.
  • Respond to operational emergencies and troubleshoot issues promptly and effectively.
  • Keep up to date on new technology, automation tools, processes and equipment: making recommendations for Viron operations future changes.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in operations management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management & manufacturing, with a proven track record in a hands-on leadership role.
  • Experience in Sheet Metal and Resin Costing operations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with operations management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in supply chain management and process improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to urgent operational needs as required.
Manufacturing Supervisor – Powder Coating

Viron International is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to join and run our second shift team in Temple, Texas. The Manufacturing Supervisor for Powder Coating is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the powder coating processes within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures all operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The supervisor leads a team of coaters and operators, coordinates production schedules, and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of the powder coating departments, ensuring production targets are met.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work for production staff, monitoring performance and providing coaching as needed.
  • Ensure all safety procedures and environmental regulations are strictly followed.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, making sure they meet company and customer specifications.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational.
  • Manage inventory of powders, chemicals, and related supplies, ensuring materials are available as needed.
  • Train new employees in proper techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot issues in the coating process and implement corrective actions.
  • Document production data, quality checks, and maintenance activities accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Quality Control, Engineering, and Shipping to optimize workflow and resolve issues.
  • Ability to work a second shift to support the operation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in painting and/or powder coating operations.
  • Strong knowledge of painting and powder coating techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and environmental compliance related to coating operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Work in environments with exposure to paints, powders, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
  • Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Financial Analyst (Owosso, Michigan)

Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst will provide data-driven insights and support to guide strategic decision-making within the manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for financial planning, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. The position will also have a critical role in documenting current financial and operation processes in the implementation of the organization’s ERP application, Acumatica.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze manufacturing costs including labor, materials, and overhead to determine profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Develop and maintain standard cost models and variance analysis
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts
  • Support the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production and inventory efficiency
  • Partner with operations and supply chain teams to evaluate capital expenditures, cost trends, and inventory management
  • Assist in pricing analysis and margin improvement initiatives
  • Conduct financial analysis for make-or-buy decisions, product line profitability, job cost analysis and investment proposals
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
  • Assist with month end closing process
  • Develop and maintain process flow documents for operations and finance
  • Create and maintain accounting policies and procedures
  • Function as subject matter expert (SME) for ERP application
  • Serve as back-up to accounting position

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA/CMA is a plus)
  • 3+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Velixo, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing finance regulations
